When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and the organization you are associated with. This information comes through Clerk, our authentication provider. We do not handle your password directly. Clerk stores credentials securely on their infrastructure.
When you use the platform, we record your course progress, completed lessons, quiz scores, and earned certificates. We store this in our database so your progress persists across sessions and devices.
We do not collect payment information. HomelessnessHQ is currently free to use.
Your account and progress data is stored in a secure database hosted in the United States. We apply standard security practices including encrypted connections, access controls, and limited internal access.
User accounts and authentication are handled by an enterprise-grade secure authentication platform. Your credentials are never stored directly by HomelessnessHQ. The authentication provider manages credential security, session tokens, and account recovery using industry-standard protections.

We use local browser storage to remember your theme and display preferences. This data stays in your browser and is never sent to our servers.
Session cookies keep you signed in. These are essential to the platform and cannot be disabled while you are logged in.
We do not run third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
We keep your account and progress data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days. Course completion records may be retained in an anonymized form for aggregate reporting.
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your account at any time. Visit our contact page and we will respond within five business days.
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. We will notify users by email if a change materially affects how we use their data.
